I was one of the artists exhibiting at White’s Art Gallery in the Bird Road Art District. Grateful for the opportunity to showcase some of my work from my “Unborn” series and meet so many talented artists.

Reflections of my journey and path to healing after an abortion.

This work is very dear to my heart. I hope to inspire and empower women to give themselves permission to forgive themselves for whatever mistakes they’ve made in the past. The past is the past and it can’t be changed and the future is unknown, all we have is the present moment, and beating ourselves up for the decisions we made in the past is not going to change “the past”  what we can do though is learn from our mistakes and make better choices in the present moment, after all, that’s all we have the NOW! But how can we do that? Easier said than done right? Know this our number one enemy and critic is our mind by changing our thoughts we have the power to change our world. The first step to healing is choosing to seek help, whether it is to pick up a book or call a friend. Do not let fear take over.

Don’t let anyone dim your light for the choices you’ve made in the past. We can turn our mess into a message that can change someone else’s life. The choice is always yours!

I want to reach out to as many women as I can to hopefully help them with my message but if I just reach out to one then my purpose is fulfilled.

Unborn

When the darkness covers your being and you bury your pain, when your feelings are trapped in the deepest of your thoughts, when you feel that you are drowning little by little in your sadness and your soul is consumed in your desolacion. Like a tree that collapses even with its strong roots, wait … one of its small fruits gives light and new life. It is then when you discover the greatest above all is love and that lasts forever.

Stuck

Drowning

Fallen Tree

Forever Love

Thank you for reading my post. Let your light shine, gorgeous!

Much love,
